This is not only a documentary viewing it is also the *only* opportunity to meet the director and voice cast of this PBS documentary in one room. Some of the cast were in the sound studio on different days and haven't even met each other yet. So, you can be here for this special, limited seating event. If you've ever wondered about anything from "How is a documentary made?" to "Why were Mennonites living in Kiva and why was that kept a secret for over 100 years?" show up on Saturday night to satisfy your curiosity.

DESCRIPTION:
ArtSpace presents the area's premier showing of a documentary film written and directed by Herndon's own Walter Ratliff, who works for the Associated Press. His film takes the viewer on an adventure on the Silk Road, following a group of Russian Mennonites seeking a divine refuge in central Asia. After crossing endless desert and confronting hostile rulers, the travelers lead us to the unfolding of a story about Muslim-Christian relationships. A discussion with the director along with Russian teas and pastries will follow the showing on ArtSpace's large screen.
